Boyce Avenue Acoustic Session.....

Soundtrip mode. Music express me. And I've been fond of listening to these Boyce Avenue Covers. One of my most played track was these song. I don't know much of the band, But its the song that hits me. yeah. I listen thru lyrics not by the sounds or anything. So even if EMINEM was blabbering on a song, as much as the lyrics hits me. its a LIKE. Hahaha.

CHASING CARS (Acoustic Cover) originally sung by the Snow Patrol.

I don't have anything more to say, Just want to add something new for this page. Since it's almost a year when i last dropped by. Hmm.
anyways, here the complete lyrics so all of us could enjoy listening. :)

"Chasing Cars--by Snow Patrol

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don't need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we’re told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

COREL DRAW vs. PHOTOSHOP

This is my first typography using Corel Draw X4...
I don't really find it appealing, it seems like there's something that's missing...
I've been using Corel Draw to work on my task here at Steorra.
Thanks to Ate Leslie, for teaching some of the tricks with Corel, ;)

About the content:

Judge Not is a song popularized by Bob Marley.
The lyrics really hit me, especially right now that we Filipinos were experiencing
criticism because of the bus siege that had happened a few days ago.
I like the lyrics because it has a simple yet straight-forward thought.
So to all the people out there, JUDGE NOT!....and before you point your fingers,
MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN..... :))

BABY TAZ with the bubble bath....

Hmm another wonderful day from work...
I was supposed to post my designed T-shirt lay outs that I've been working out these past few days but then I've seen this image from my portfolio. So i decided to post it,first on my facebook account then here. Well, this artwork was about 3 or 4 months ago. When I was still working at Metro Publishing House as a Lay-out Artist. back then, During my spare time. I was watching video tutorials about coloring using Adobe Photoshop then tried doing one. And I've also seen different scribbles made by a good friend Nellie Serrano, She's really great in doing stuffs like this and got a lot of patience to draw everything from scratch. Wish i could learn to draw better also. Hahaha and BABY TAZ is my most fave character from looney tunes because I love the irony that the Tazmanian Devil portrays a wild, and strong character while the BABY TAZ was a lovely one.

Here Comes the Bride: A review.

“Laughin’ out Loud… Another pinoy-comedy film that would tickle and definitely leave you a smile.”
Here Comes the Bride: A review.
By Annette S. Sarmiento

As she constantly serves a pinch of joy in Banana Split: Daily Servings, Angelica Panganiban offers another heap of comedy and laughter as one of the lead stars on Star Cinema’s latest summer offering on the movie: “Here comes the Bride”. With some of today’s best comedian such as Eugene Domingo, Tuesday Vargas, John Lapus, and one of the film industry’s finest actor, Jaime Fabregas. Together, they’ll make you laughin’ out loud with the film’s humorous and surprising twists and turns.

What will happen when an accident suddenly turns everything not in order?

After the accident happened on their way to the wedding venue, in midst of a strange magnetic highway during a phenomenal solar eclipse, they also have their lives taken over when they’re souls got re-arranged. Since it triggered to have their souls to go out of their respective bodies and transfer to the bodies of different people:

Stephanie (Angelica Panganiban) a sweet and old-fashioned bride to be, turned out into a daring, flirty sexy woman when the soul of the gay beautician Tofee (John Lapus) shifted to her body. Meanwhile, the soul of the sweet and shy Stephanie was shifted to the body of her Ninang Precy,

(Eugene Domingo) one of her principal sponsor. She is brilliant and dignified attorney, who happened to shift her soul to the body of a promdi nanny Yaya (Tuesday Vargas) of the spoiled brat ring-bearer. However, Yayas soul, was shifted to the body of Jaime Fabregas, the 69 year old man who doesn’t to have a social life. Then the body of Tofee (John Lapus) trapped the soul of grand father of the groom Harold (Tom Rodriguez from PBB Double UP housemate) who instantly became energized as he enjoyed being a young man again.

Looking at the big picture, and to the man behind the camera.

The strange incident happened to helped each characters to lived on another else’s shoe, and somehow let them to manage and solved their personal issues. Giving a creative and sensible story plot, the actors opened up a new perspective on their careers as they displayed their versatility as they portrayed different roles. Definitely, the film turned out to be as expected to tickle every Filipino viewers and leave them with a big smile. And also the settings, exemplifies another beauty of the Philippines since the setting was mostly shoot on a wonderful white sand beach. Another success from a Cinemalaya filmmaker and writer, Chris Martinez for the film have been rated B by the Cinema Evaluation Board. The elements were intensely catered by the production of Star Cinema, in cooperation with OctoArts and Quantum films. And this film absolutely deserves two-thumbs up!!

I am writer, who writes a smile on every heart....♥

This literary piece was published on our college paper; Summer Special issue on the year 2009.
I considered it as one of my favorite written piece because after reading it, they would simply say that:
"Its so you!..." We'll they are right because writing reflects the real me. And with my literary works, I usually express my moods, visions and feelings i suppressed. Anyways, why prolonged the agony?. Here is it, ISANG PAHINANG PAPEL written by yours Truly... Enjoy Reading. :)

Isang Pahinang Papel

by smile_16
