Just a few thoughts in mind and was just playing around with photoshop. Heard this phrase on a TV series. And decided to designed a concept image. It somehow reflects what my heart tries to say; This is for all my friends and love ones,remember that: I always cared...

Here at Metro.
I currently work as a graphic artist here at Metro Publishing House. My workplace is just a few steps away from my alma mater Angeles University Foundation. I opted to apply here, and tried my luck since the place wasn't really new to me and the traveling time was great since it would only take me around 20-30 mins. to get here. I think its better so I could avoid being LATE. :)
If you'll ask me what am I doing here, well as a writer. I don't know. But as an IT professional, I am here to learn more.
"As Professionals, you should learn to separate YOURSELF from your Roles."
I've learned this during the graduation day, from the speech of our honorable guest speaker Fr. Bienvenido F. Nebrez S.J (President, Ateneo De Manila). It was not actually the same exact words or phrase but its the same thought that I understood it. And right now, its what am trying to exercise, To become as effective employee as I can be. You might be surprised why am here as a graphic artist when I am a self proclaimed writer, the answer is because it is my role here. and myself i left it at home, shut down with my pc waiting till i arrived and write another post again, sounds crazy isn't but that's the way I sees it. :)
My roles here aren't more than what you've expected or even i had imagine. Each time we had our clients then when all the requested orders/ products are already approved and finalized I just need to make sure that all specifications are correct before they would be ready for printing. We offer various printing services such as News Letters, Letterheads and Envelopes,Business Cards,Posters, Brochures, Computer Forms, Yearbooks and Annuals, Receipts. Most of the time we used Corel Draw Graphics Suite 12 and Microsoft office Publisher for our projects, I find it really challenging since i am more used working with Adobe Photoshop. During my spare time, im working on with some tutorials on the web since I am not at school anymore the web now is my new teacher. I find it really fulfilling each time I see my outputs. Maybe that's one thing I enjoyed much with my degree as an IT graduate, your learning does not simply ends with books and lectures but its more on application of skills and it seeks development. So to all the readers out there, maximize the resources you could utilizes on the web and find time to check out something new and latest trends in technology coz I believe;
"The more you know, the little you know...So never get tired of learning. ;) "That's all for now folks, and thanks for reading my blogpost. Check out my embedded link below for the latest news about the Launching of the Adobe Photoshop CS 5. Enjoy reading. ;)

My first blog entry after all the busy days here comes: Graduation!!!

Right now, I felt like I am starting my life over again. Since, the doors of my Student Life had finally closed. I have to look around the windows opened for opportunities to start out for my career. With our Industry Internship Program, it helped me to realized to what are the things I love doing, things I can do, and the things that I should be learning so that I could possibly do it. I know, its far off different from the life of being a student, but as I walked through this new journey, I felt more blessed and thankful. Because I believe, I would not be able to march up on that stage, and kissed my diploma with cheers and joy without the help of my parents, family, classmates, and friends. And of course, without the love and guidance of our Dear God who continuously blessed me with the strength and courage that I need.
For now, I would be ending this blog post filled with my thoughts of happiness, hopes, and gratefulness. and I would be sharing a simple quote that sums up this entry:
"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin--real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."--- Alfred D. Souza
thanks for reading...until next time :)
